Pumpernickle's Real Deli
Owner Brad Hartman, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, roasts his own turkeys for the store. The restaurant's soups and salads are made on the premises as well, and, except for the bagels, all the baking is done there as well. Pumpernickle's is a genuine traditional deli, Hartman says: "A good deli is forever. There's no trend to quality."
