Some may call the Black Thorn Pub home simply because it's their neighborhood bar, and a comfortable and friendly bar it is. A wider circle seeks it out because it makes some of the finest pizza on the South Side, and it truly is marvelous pizza. Others, though, are drawn to the modest pub by the magnetic pull of rock & roll. With members of the Fantasy Four, Fred's Variety Group and Ouija manning the bar, the Black Thorn Pub has become the best place to see some of St. Louis' finest female rockers working their day jobs (well, OK, night jobs), so tip well, mind your manners and drink up at last call, because who knows? Some of those songs may be about you.
