Local favorite J.D. Blackfoot returns to St. Louis for one last show
Show up for the Tin Ceiling's last hurrah this weekend. On Jan. 19, Children's Audio, Climber, Skarekrauradio (winner of the RFT's notorious Black Panel award), the Conformists and the Julia Sets perform; the next evening, it's the Shampoo Sharks. Tin Ceiling organizers want to continue putting on rock shows and live theater, but it won't be at the beloved Macklind Avenue location (neighbors, alas, weren't sold on the whole all-ages punk-rock thing). Rock-show booker Scott Dorough is busy looking for a more suitable space; we'll keep you posted on his progress.
