Forget driving out to the suburban comedy clubs and turn off the damn TV, already. Turns out that the Jesuits have the most amusing show in town: the new St. Louis University Art Museum. The St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission should really think about promoting this as a must-see tourism stop rivaling the Arch. Think of the fun you'll have showing your next out-of-town guests how the academic locals put tacky ceramic sculptures from the Danbury Mint (you know, the kind that are advertised in the Sunday newspaper's Parade magazine) under glass and think it's art. Ha! You'll hoot and snicker in the aisles. No standup routine could elicit more laughs.
