I'm Going Home. Manoel de Oliveira. An actor performing in Ionesco's Exit the King learns of a fatal car accident involving his wife, daughter and son-in-law. He's left to take care of his grandson and eventually returns to the stage to act. Then he's offered a demanding role in James Joyce's Ulysses, forcing him to reassess his life.
