Saleem's

Saleem's was born in the international restaurant district of South Grand, though few will remember that long-gone location. For a couple generations of local diners, Saleem's has been a University City Loop favorite, with a preponderance of options available with the house's not-so-secret ingredient: garlic. The restaurant, known for a heady use of the goodly garlic is a fine spot for a romantic date (yes, even with the garlic) or a get-together of old friends. Though nice, it's got a flexible menu and comfortable environment, making it a perennial winner.
