Best Beer Selection in a Bar

Cicero's

Beer. It's not as simple as it used to be. At Cicero's, ordering a beer can be a paralyzing prospect, especially if you're at the bar, where the line of taps runs the full length and the nearby cooler is stocked with just about anything you might conceivably ask for -- and lots more. The basics (Bud and its variations, Miller Lite) are there, as are the next levels up (Sam Adams, Newcastle, Guinness, Bass) and down (Pabst Blue Ribbon). All four versions of local powerhouse Schlafly are on tap (Pale Ale, Oatmeal Stout, Hefeweizen and a rotating seasonal beer). Then it gets fun. Heineken on tap, which is rare; a chili-pepper beer from Cave Creek in Arizona; a pair of meads from the White Winter brewery in Wisconsin. But make it easy on your 'tenders: Check the list on the menu and make up your mind before you sidle up to the bar.
