Which Is the Best Touchdown Celebration?

"The best is Barry Sanders [of the Detroit Lions] simply handing the ball to the official. There's nothing better than letting everybody know you can do it and they can't stop it. That's all there is, man -- class."

"I always liked the Rams doing the Dirty Bird. Right after we won the Super Bowl they started doing it, Faulk and Anderson at first, and then the whole team'd go over and get into it. After that, the NFL made a rule and banned touchdown celebrations for everybody. And it was all our fault -- the Rams took too long and other teams were getting pissed. The whole thing is utterly stupid. I mean, how're they gonna ban the celebration of a touchdown?"

Leah Sweetman

"I'm a big Packers fan so I like the Lambeau Leap. It's interactive. When a player scores a touchdown, he jumps into the stands and is caught by the fans. See, as a woman who's four-foot-ten, I'd give anything to jump like that!"

Ryan Robertson
Student, Saint Louis University School of Law
"I liked the one a couple Sundays ago where Warren Sapp [of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers], after his first touchdown ever, danced like Beyoncé Knowles only he wasn't as hot as her. It's like some sort of tribal dance, where he shakes his butt and walks around like a chicken. It was really funny because he weighs about 300 pounds."

Elliot Levin
Account Executive, KFNS (590 AM)
"I've gotta go with 'Neon' Deion Sanders. What a show-off! He'd start high-stepping and showing the ball on the 30-yard line, really rubbing it in [the other team's] faces. Then he does his little dance in the end zone and the one time he did it badly, he apologized for it and corrected it. The next time he did an extended remix. He was as good as it got."

Melissa Flaherty
Diehard Boston Red Sox Fan
"The best celebration is no celebration, act like you've been there before. Turn around and hand the ref the ball. The Duck-down, the Dirty Bird, even Warren Sapp doing that Beyoncé Knowles dance -- too much, don't like it."
