Tuesday, December 2Hockey in the '80s was a different game from hockey in the new millennium. Scoring was more prevalent, fighting was more common, mullets were plentiful and the uniforms -- well, the uniforms were atrocious. The St. Louis Blues were fortunate in that regard, what with their matching royal-blue jerseys and pants and smart Blue Note; other teams, like, say, the Los Angeles Kings, were not so lucky. Their, um, "majestic" purple long johns emblazoned with that big "air freshener" crown made them look a little like skating bruises. Tonight at Savvis Center (1401 Clark Avenue, 314-622-5400) the old-look Blues take on the old-look Kings for 1980s Retro Jersey Night at 7 p.m. (tickets are $15-$90). The first 15,000 fans will receive Doug Weight Puzzle Cubes, which are still unsolvable. But if you can get one side unscrambled, you know which color you should go for: Gotta bleed blue, baby. Game time is 7 p.m.
