No matter that it's known as "Chicago-style"; the Black Thorn Pub's thick-crust pie is like the Gateway Arch of pizzas. It is taller than you could have imagined, seeing it with your own two eyes for the first time, and it is famous around these parts. With a cheese-stuffed crust, a spicy, robust, deep-red tomato sauce and a proudly un-frou-frou choice of toppings (pepperoni, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, onions, garlic, black olives, green peppers), it's also absurdly delicious.
