Say what you will about the boys in anthem-rock band Coldplay(they're saviors, they're charlatans, they're a guilty pleasure) -- but they pick great opening acts. Canadian psych heroes Black Mountain just finished up a month-long stint, while critical darlings Rilo Kiley will be making their St. Louis debut in the cozy confines of the UMB Bank Pavilion. It's already been a year since the release of the band's last record, More Adventurous, although lead singer Jenny Lewis's solo debut (due out at the start of next year) should sate the faithful. It looks to be an evening of smart pop hooks, soaring choruses and life-affirming messages. Oh, and Coldplay will be there, too.

Show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $34 to $69; call 314-298-9944 for more information.
