Fantasy Is Reality

By Amy Helms

Published on January 11, 2006

You may not want to admit it, but you've been tempted. Summer drives past fields teeming with scrolls, swords and damsels have caught your eye. And more than once you've found yourself on eBay, pricing vintage role-playing-game adventure modules and a set of clear dragon dice. Take the plunge already: Find out if you're fantasy material by attending the next Dragon's Keep show at 11:15 p.m. at the Royal Dumpe Dinner Theatre (809 North Second Street on Laclede's Landing). This unique show mixes live role-playing, audience participation and improvisational theater for some very adventurous results. Admission is $10 at the door, but arrive in costume for a $3 discount. Each show builds on the previous performance and promises lots of spells, heroics and slow-motion combat with poisoned blades. Intrigued? Find out more at your own peril at www.the-dragons-keep.com, or call 314-725-2182.
