So the Immediacy Theatre Project presents Drawn and Quartered I at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, January 13 and 14, at the Broadway Center of Arts (124-126 East Main Street, Belleville, Illinois), but we can't give you the performance's plot synopsis. We are also unable to tell you much about the characters — except that there are no characters, and no costumes. We really can't even reveal the setting of Drawn and Quartered I: This first installment in a series of four plays simply takes place where it takes place, on a stage in Belleville. We can tell you that several very short new plays, no more than two minutes in length, are being performed by the six members of the ITP who wrote and directed them. And we also know that you, the audience members, get to decide in which order the plays are performed (for a little improv fun to add to the mystery). Tickets for this unconventional theater event are $7; for more information visit www.broadwaycenterofarts.com or call 618-233-0431.
