Contrary to what it sounds like, Battleworks is not some geeky D&D/robot coalition, nor is it a war cry for certain people in the administration. Actually, Battleworks is a dance company that's performing the innovative pieces of its choreographer, Robert Battle, at the Center of Creative Arts (524 Trinity Avenue, University City; 314-725-6555 or www.cocastl.org). This young choreographer and company present his groundbreaking (and gravity-defying) work at 7 p.m. Friday and at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (January 13 through 15); tickets cost $14 to $17 and are available through MetroTix at 314-534-1111 or www.metrotix.com.
