The show is sold out, but legendary folkie — and Illinois native — John Prine will play the Touhill Performing Arts Center (1 University Drive at Natural Bridge Road; 314-516-4949) at 8 p.m. Saturday, January 28. Bands such as R.E.M. have covered his heartbreaking narrative about growing older, "Hello in There"; Prine will play tunes from last year's Fair & Square, a predictably stellar outing rife with acoustic picking, Prine's leathery voice and even a cameo from Alison Krauss.
