What does freakshow Angelina Jolie do for the United Nations? Well, whatever it is, we're pretty sure that Bar Italia/Luna Lounge (13 Maryland Plaza; 314-361-7010) can do it better. The restaurant and bar owners and staff over there are pretty international people, and the lounge hosts an International Nightfrom 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. that should totally be UN-certified. All kinds of music from just about everyplace can be heard — and we do mean all kinds: Eastern European, Arabic, salsa, merengue and Brazilian tunes global up the place. Plus, belly dancers perform throughout the evening (could it be an international party without them?) as you sip on $5 Axiom Blue Energy Drink specials and you-call-it martinis, which together add a little bit of America, and specifically St. Louis (Axiom was created here), to this night of international wonders.
