City Sabbatical

You're a quiet soul; you don't need the hustle and bustle of an art opening. You prefer to enjoy art quietly, on your own time, without a schedule and without people bumping into you and walking between you and the artworks. You want to relax and just think — just be. Well, you can do just that in these final days of environmental artist Ken Worley's show, Rockwoods Reservation, at the Bruno David Gallery (3721 Washington Boulevard; 314-531-3030 or www.brunodavidgallery.com). The exhibit, which is up only through Saturday, March 4, features paintings that depict quiet scenes from Wildwood's beloved outdoor space of the same name. So go, take respite, and enjoy the view — you have from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for some midday meditation.
