Sniff, Swirl and Snip
The worst part about winter is that you can't go to wineries. Sure, most of them operate year-round, but the vibe just isn't the same. Well, Ravissant Winery (5950 Town Hall Road, Belleville, Illinois; www.ravissantwinery.com) proves that winter wine is still just as fine — especially when it's accompanied by a play. Snip — a comedy written by Benjamin Moeller-Gaa that explores lovers, friends and more — is performed at the winery at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. today (March 3 through 5).
