The comment on Slow Parade's MySpace profile (myspace.com/slowparade) that says "...almost hard to believe you are from St. Louis with that kind of sound!" perfectly sums up the band's otherworldly quality. Delicate, Britpop-fancying rock partial to the fragile gossamer swoons of the Delays (as well as Radiohead's The Bends) creeps as if mired in a troubling dreamscape, all pensive vocals and murky guitars.
