Pinky out. Lips pursed. Now, smile at your neighbor and sip. Oh, how delightful is a tea party on a Wednesday afternoon! Following hundreds of years of European tradition, the Ladies of Lucerne (Missouri, not Switzerland) unite the excitement of high tea and high fashion with a Spring Fashion Fling and Luncheon, featuring fashions from Stein Mart. Lunching with the ladies costs $25, and reservations are, of course, required, dah-ling. High tea is served at high noon at the Barn at Lucerne (930 Kehrs Mill Road, Ballwin; 636-227-7300 or www.ladiesoflucerne.com), and a portion of the proceeds go to Dignity U Wear.
