Beggin' for Bones

Many years ago, after several Easters had been ruined, an alliance was formed between the Easter Bunny and the canine community. The dogs pledged to stop eating the chocolates left for the children by the Almighty Bunny, and in return, the rabbit began the tradition of hiding bones and treats for man's best friend, in addition to her egg duties. To witness this truce in action, grab Pupface and head out to Rotary Park (2577 West Meyer Road, Wentzville) at 1:30 p.m. for the annual Bone Hunt. Your furry friend gets to sniff out some yummy treats, and the candy will be safe for the kiddos for another year! Participation costs $8 to $10; for more information visit www.wentzvillemo.org or call 636-332-9236.
