Fred Willard, Peter Boyle, John Belushi, Bill Murray, Chris Farley, Tim Meadows, Bob Odenkirk, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Tina Fey, Dan Aykroyd, Gilda Radner, Eugene Levy, Martin Short and Mike Myers are just a smattering of the professional funnypantses the granddaddy of all improv troupes, The Second City, has birthed since it was founded in 1959. (OK, so none were literally birthed, though the mental images make good sketch fodder for SCTV or Saturday Night Live.) The City's current U.S. touring company sings, sketches and takes audience suggestions during "The Best of the Second City" at the Touhill Performing Arts Center's Lee Theater (on the University of Missouri-St. Louis campus, 1 University Drive at Natural Bridge Road) tonight at 7 and 10 p.m. and tomorrow (Saturday, April 29) at 5 and 9 p.m. Tickets are $26 to $35; call 314-516-4949 or visit www.touhill.org for more information.
