All of the St. Charles naysayers who think that the county is completely devoid of culture will be proved wrong this evening at 7:30 p.m. That's when the St. Charles County Symphony Orchestra puts on a free concert at the Foundry Art Centre (520 North Main Center, St. Charles; 636-255-0270 or www.foundryartcentre.org). You read correctly: There will be classical music and fine art all in the same place in St. Charles, at the same time — so quit your bitchin'. Enjoy the works up in all of the galleries at the Foundry right now — the pieces in Galleries I and II celebrate painting in its many forms — and appreciate your time out on the Missouri riverbank. The art's sure to be great, the mood relaxing, the music soothing.
