If exotic flora isn't enough to get you to the famous Missouri Botanical Garden (4344 Shaw Boulevard; 314-577-9400 or www.mobot.org), maybe Chihuly Nights will convince you to make the trip. These every-Thursday events — which happen from 6 to 10 p.m. — celebrate lit-up evening views of Glass in the Garden: Chihuly at the Missouri Botanical Garden, the recently opened special exhibit on the garden's grounds. In addition to the great Chihuly display, these soirées feature music, drinks and hors d'oeuvres for purchase, plus live glassblowing demonstrations courtesy of the Third Degree Glass Factory — all for $15. Molten glass and springtime in the garden make for a great combo, so why aren't you there yet?
Thursdays. Starts: May 11. Continues through Oct. 31
