Come to your senses: The Schlafly Bottleworks (7260 Southwest Avenue, Maplewood; 314-241-2337) has certainly established itself as a taste-sensation destination for beer lovers. Now the brewpub flexes its facilities by hosting the Observable Poetry Benefit Concert, where for $15 ($10 for students), audience members can hear local bands Say Panther, Berlin Whale, and Bob Reuter & Thee Dirty South. The benefit supports this fall's fourth annual Observable Reading Series, an organization that allows spectators to see writers and poets perform their works. Smell the aroma of altruism on Saturday, June 17 at 7:30 p.m.
