Amazing tenor Hugh Smith just might have the most wonderful head of hair we've ever seen on a man. Soft, flowing and with a lot of body, this hair may struggle to remain beautiful in the terrible St. Louis heat and humidity. Find out if his coif survives when Smith performs alongside the Compton Heights Concert Band at 7:30 p.m. at Francis Park (Eichelberger Street and Donovan Avenue) on Sunday, August 13, and at 7:30 p.m. at Tower Grove Park (4256 Magnolia Avenue) on Monday, August 14. This is the grand finale of the CHCB's 30th year, and the only thing lovelier than Smith's hair will be his performance — he did win the Luciano Pavarotti International Competition, after all. The concerts are free; call 314-776-2227 or visit stlouis.missouri.org/chband for more information.
