It's hard to believe Kevin Nealon hasn't been on Saturday Night Live for more than ten years. But now, the former "Subliminal Man" and Weekend Update anchor has a slew of Adam Sandler flicks to his name, a smoookin' part as a stoner accountant/business advisor on the Showtime hit (ha!) Weeds, fleshier jowls, an ever-receding hairline and a rekindled passion for taking the stand-up stage when his schedule allows. His humor's dry, absurdist and chock-full of wordplay; in other words, it's unique. Hear me now and believe me later — like when you catch the Emmy nominee headlining the West Port Funny Bone (614 West Port Plaza, Maryland Heights; 314-469-6692 or www.funnyboneusa.com) this weekend. Shows are at 8 and 10:30 p.m. on Friday and 7:30 and 10 p.m. on Saturday (September 15 and 16); tickets cost $20 to $25. You should go — after all, he's Kevin Nealon, and the fact that he's funny is news to no one.
