Romeo and Juliet: You know their story. Star-crossed Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes cause their own tragic deaths, and Radiohead helps provide the soundtrack. Oh, you're not familiar with this version of the tale? Well, then you also probably don't know about Shakespeare's R&J, the adaptation presented as part of the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis' Off-Ramp series at the Grandel Theatre (3610 Grandel Square). In this play Catholic students in a strict prep school discover the Bard's Romeo and Juliet and act it out — oh, and did we mention the students are all boys? Become familiar with Shakespeare's R&J when you attend a performance; they're scheduled every day but Monday from Wednesday, October 18, through Sunday, November 5. All shows are at 8 p.m. except those on Sunday (2 and 7 p.m.). Tickets cost $8 to $45 and are available at 314-968-4925 or www.repstl.org.
Tuesdays-Sundays. Starts: Oct. 18. Continues through Nov. 5
