Compared to the good ol' days, when the Tivoli Theatre (6350 Delmar Boulevard, University City; 314-995-6270) screened The Rocky Horror Picture Show all the time, much has changed. The neighborhood has cleaned itself up a bit, the kids are dressing differently, and it costs a little more to see a film at the now-restored, historic theater. But that's OK, because paying $6.50 to see a late-night flick here is well worth the price (and the snacks are good, too!). Anyway, the movie house will be taking a page from its own history book for the next couple of weekends as it screens Rocky Horror at midnight Friday and Saturday (October 27 through November 4). The tranny romp is accompanied by short films by Meat Loaf and Tim Curry, plus a live performance courtesy of the Samurai Electricians. Veteran viewers should note that bringing props from home is not allowed; the Tivoli will have prop bags available in the lobby (another change from the old days). And to you Rocky Horror virgins: "Give yourself over to absolute pleasure!"
Fridays, Saturdays. Starts: Oct. 27. Continues through Nov. 4
