Recycling? Yep. Canvas grocery bags? Check. Hybrid ride? Mais oui. So you're obviously an enlightened friend of the Earth why should your artwork be any less eco-savvy? To straighten out this little oversight on your part, attend eARThworks: art for an endangered planet, an exhibit and gala auction happening from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Regional Arts Commission (6128 Delmar Boulevard). The silent- and live-auction soiree, put on by the Missouri Coalition for the Environment, includes bountiful bites from Shangri-La Diner, Mirasol, Duff's Restaurant, Meshuggah Coffee House and more; the music of Silk Pajamas; and the artwork for sale mentioned above, some of which is made out of recycled items. Participating artists include Jenna Bauer, Hilary Hitchcock, John Mueller and several others; for a full list, visit art.moenviron.org. Admission to the event costs $25, and food is included in this price. For more information and to purchase tickets, call 314-727-0600.
