Viva the Diva!
Ms. Day could be considered a bit of a diva. After all, she knows what she wants (i.e. she's bossy), and she's confident in what she likes (i.e. she's picky). If she only had a catchphrase, the diva formula would be complete. Ah, a girl can dream! Maybe Day can come up with a trademark slogan when she's away on the Wine Diva Weekend. This event takes place today and tomorrow (November 18 and 19) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Ste. Genevieve's Route du Vin (or wine trail). After Day visits five wineries — Charleville Vineyard, Cave Vineyard, Crown Valley Winery, Chaumette Vineyards & Winery and the Sainte Genevieve Winery — some creative juices are bound to be flowing, especially since all ticket holders receive a diva treat at each stop! Tickets cost $20 and are available by calling the Sainte Genevieve Winery (245 Merchant Street) at 800-398-1298; wine samples at all five locations, a commemorative wine glass and food are included in the ticket price.
