'Tis the season to celebrate! Everyone's got something to be joyous about, whether you're toasting Rumsfeld's recently vacated seat, the fact that Highway 40 won't see total closures until 2008 or the PS3 you've locked up in the safe for Christmas morning. And now that you have that warm, fuzzy feeling, head over to the Foundry Art Centre (520 North Main Center, St. Charles) for the Celebration of Trees. Along with this year's Candy Land-themed decorations, you'll find more than 40 professionally ornamented trees, a toy-train exhibit, a gift shop, live entertainment and Santa. What's better, some of these trees are up for bidding via silent auction, and the proceeds from those sales and from the gift shop go to Habitat for Humanity of St. Charles County. The Celebration of Trees takes place this Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. (December 1 through 3). Entrance fees for individuals are $2 to $4. For more information visit www.foundryartcentre.org or call 636-255-0270.
