Bingo is a fine dog’s name, our favorite type of scratch-off lottery ticket and a game that some people take a little too seriously. But The Queen of Bingo is none of these things; in fact, it’s a comedy playing at the James J. Eagan Civic Center Theatre (Parker Road and Waterford Drive, Florissant). During this show “Sis” and “Babe,” sisters of a respectable age, seek to spice up their lives through the bingo cards — and they add a little fun to your night as well, because one lucky audience member leaves the show with a ten-pound turkey! To find out which one of these “ladies” (they’re played by men!) is crowned queen of all the bingo hall, get to the civic center by 8 p.m. Tickets for the performance cost $23 to $25; call 314-921-5678 to make a purchase. And visit www.florissantfinearts.com for more information about this touring production.
