Who's Sorry Now?

Any performer who cites both Eugene Ionesco and Jacques Tati as influences is all right in our book. Justin Rose and Kevin Wall, performing together as the Candidatos, bring the cerebral gymnastics of Ionesco and the physical dexterity of Tati together in their show I'm Sorry & I'm Sorry. The plot involves a morning-after, wherein a Seasick Sailor attempts to evade both the police (he's guilty of "an incompetent crime") and an Overzealous Actor. What follows is acrobatic drunkenness and absurdity. The Candidatos present I'm Sorry & I'm Sorry at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday (January 4 through 13) at the Little Theatre at Clayton High School (1 Mark Twain Circle, Clayton; 314-854-6750 or www.thecandidatos.com). Tickets are $12 to $15.
Thursdays-Sundays. Starts: Jan. 4. Continues through Jan. 13
