If you think "bigger" means "better than ever," especially when gourmet food samples and wine are involved, then look no further than the fifth annual St. Louis Food & Wine Experience, happening Saturday and Sunday (January 27 and 28) at the Chase Park Plaza (212 North Kingshighway Boulevard). At this, the largest international wine-tasting in Missouri, more than 450 vintages await you, as well as secrets and samples from celebrity chefs, wine trivia contests, wine seminars ($10), oodles of tasty foods, and professional cooking accessories. Daily tickets are for wine lovers 21 and older only and cost $35 in advance and $40 at the door, or you can choose the VIP experience for $60 and enjoy a private area, more food and premium wine samples; proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis.
