It seems like the six years since Redman's last album, Malpractice, have passed by in a cloud of ganja smoke for the man formerly known as Reggie Noble. But that's only partly correct. Hip-hop's self-proclaimed Funk Doctor has been rolling, and not just blunts: He's distributed mixtapes through his Gilla House imprint, filmed a sequel to the dope-smoking drama How High and is waiting impatiently for Def Jam to give up his long-awaited sixth solo effort, Red Gone Wild, which is due this March.
