Give Our Regards to Broadway
If the Broadway lights have never shined upon your face, you're definitely missing out — but that doesn't mean you can't go Back to Broadway. It sounds confusing, but stay with us: The members of local theater group K's Theatrical Korps have rehearsed a number of recent and classic Broadway tunes that they will perform in a cabaret-style revue, thus taking them (and you) Back to Broadway, which just happens to be the title of the show. On your musical journey to the Great White Way, you'll probably meet some new folks — you'll be seated at tables of eight — and all for $20, a fare you'd be hard-pressed to come by even at one of NYC's half-price-ticket booths. Plus, your admission includes wine, beer, water, soda, popcorn and pretzels! The final weekend of the revue is upon us, so go to St. John the Baptist Fine Arts Center (4200 Delor Street) on Friday or Saturday at 8 p.m. or on Sunday at 2 p.m. (February 9 through 11).
