Expect the Wurst

Mention "wurst" in St. Louis, and you'll have an influx of folks donning lederhosen and heading downtown with beer steins in hand. Sorry, folks, you'll have to wait a few more months for Strassenfest. However, Murder in the Wurst starts this Friday, March 2, at the Royale Orleans Banquet Center (2801 Telegraph Road). Although brats aren't on the menu, Murder in the Wurst is an Affton CenterStage dinner-theater murder mystery, so you'll find lots of other tasty grub to munch on as you join the 1941 Wurst Ladies Association (that's an acronym for "Women's Ubiquitous Resource for Scandal & Twiddle-Twaddle") for dinner and, of course, murder! Performances are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday (March 2 through 10), with a 1 p.m. matinee on Sunday, March 11. Tickets are $25 per person, and audience members are encouraged to dress up in their most elegant black and white attire.
