Dill, Thrill and Double-Take

The Millstone Gallery at the Center of Creative Arts (524 Trinity Avenue, University City) opened Lesley Dill: The Thrill Came Slowly (Prints and Multiples, 1990-2005) about a month ago, but in case you haven't had a chance to check out the artist's mixed-media works, the gallery offers a little incentive on Wednesday, April 11. Dill, in town from New York, attends a reception beginning at 6 p.m. and gives a talk at 7 p.m. to enlighten you on the subject of her text-infused pieces, which tend to highlight faces and/or figures. Both events are free; call COCA at 314-725-6555 or visit www.cocastl.org for more information. The gallery is open daily, and the exhibit remains on view through Sunday, April 29.
March 9-April 29
