Quick — what was your last experience with green drinks? A jiggly trayful of St. Patty’s Day Jell-O shots, perhaps? Time to shift your thinking: St. Louis Green Drinks isn’t about emerald-colored beverages. Instead, the group’s members focus on living ecologically and collaborating with others to make our city a healthier place. Celebrate this organization’s goals and accomplishments from 6:30 to 9 p.m. tonight at the St. Louis Green Drinks Second Anniversary Party. Appropriately held at the newish “green general store” Home Eco (4611 Macklind Avenue; www.home-eco.com), the party gives you the opportunity to meet representatives from more than ten St. Louis-based environmental groups. Pay the $5 cover, then enjoy complimentary drinks and finger foods as you mingle with other St. Louisans who have some great ideas about living sustainably. Call the store at 314-351-2000 or visit www.stlgreendrinks.org for more information.
