Attention, awkward sixteen-year-old girls, twenty-something geeks and post-college couch surfers: Casiotone for the Painfully Alone's Owen Ashworth can feel your pain. He knows that pain so well that he created an anthem for it in the title track from his Young Shields EP: "We quit our jobs and shoot the moon, and cut our wrists and sleep till noon." When Ashworth takes the stage to play his lo-fi pop gems sporting a scruffy beard and cardigan, he's no glossy, magazine-ready pop star waiting to tell you about your life.
