Picture This

Mort’s got serious issues. His wife, Shirley, choked to death on a piece of mu shu pork, and all his family wants him to do is get on with it already. So begins What's Wrong with This Picture?, Donald Margulies’ insightful and often humorous meditation on grief and family. The play manages to buck maudlin territory with surreal twists; a ghost just may be involved. See for yourself when the New Jewish Theatre presents this work at the Jewish Community Center’s Wolfson Studio Theatre (2 Millstone Campus Drive, Creve Coeur) at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, and at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday (May 2 through 20).
