Drive for a Cure
Ms. Day has walked all night for cancer, relayed for cancer and even ran for cancer. And despite the great cause, sometimes during these events she wished she had just donated money for cancer research and stayed home (she doesn’t like it when the glistening beads of perspiration show up -- ewww). But there is one cancer benefit Ms. Day absolutely adores, and that is the annual BMW Ultimate Drive, which donates $1 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure for every mile test-driven in one of the special touring BMWs. To participate and to take a spin in a Beemer, show up Tuesday, May 29, at Plaza BMW (11830 Olive Boulevard, Creve Coeur); Saturday, June 2, at Autohaus of Clayton BMW (125 Hunter Avenue, Ladue); and/or Sunday, June 3, at Suntrup West County BMW (14417 Manchester Road, Manchester).
