Janes, take vine in hand, grab hold of your Tarzans, and get to swingin’, because the Saint Louis Zoo in Forest Park is extending its hours all summer long! To celebrate, the zoo’s family-friendly concert series, Jungle Boogie, debuts Friday, May 25, at Central Plaza’s outdoor stage from 5 to 7 p.m. The opening night’s star attraction is the Ralph Butler Band, whose stylish sounds are sure to soothe your savage inner beast. The free concerts continue every Friday night through August 31.

Of course, the real celebrities are the animals, and there are plenty to get excited about this summer -- including three new cheetah cubs (one pouncing baby boy and two fuzzy-face females). And the sea lions are always good for a laugh. It’s shaping up to be another unforgettable summer at the zoo! Call 314-781-0900 or visit www.stlzoo.org for all of the details!
Fridays. Starts: May 25. Continues through Aug. 31
