The nightly news is all about entertainment, despite the serious stories of death tolls and vanishing honeybees read in gravely mellifluous intonations by well-coifed anchormen and -women coming to you live from New York studios. Your presenters are Howie Hirshfield and Chuck Brinkley, and they bring you the latest in news, sorta. Brinkley and Hirshfield work live, with field reports and "man-on-the-street" interviews, just like the big boys, but they also allow time for audience interaction, allowing you to become part of the news — only this time without the handcuffs and the blazer over your head.
