The Beach Is...Right Here
We always thought the Chase Park Plaza (212 North Kingshighway Boulevard) had a lot to offer, but now it apparently has a beach as well. How else could the stately hotel-and-more offer a Clambake? The people there must have installed a small ocean out on the patio that appears only on Friday nights during these dinner buffets. When you pay $25.95, you’ll get to revel in the beachy feel as you pile your plate high with all manner of water-dwellers, including shrimp, mussels, crawfish and, of course, New England clams!
