While Radiohead is busy crafting its next masterpiece, Ours is picking up the slack by crafting its own expansive brand of rock. Although the band officially formed in 1990 and released an album in 1994, it wasn't until frontman Jimmy Gnecco reformed the group in 1997 that a bidding war erupted — which eventually lead Dreamworks Records to release the band's sophomore disc, Distorted Lullabies. Three years ago, Gnecco's band relocated from the East Coast to Los Angeles to record with Rick Rubin — and although the upcoming Dancing for the Death of an Imaginary Enemyhas yet to be released, if the rest of the album is anywhere near as cathartic and climactic as preview tracks such as "Black" and "The Moth," Thom Yorke & Co. are in for some serious competition.
