Riverside, California's Voodoo Glow Skulls have been together for nearly two decades. But instead of falling back on its hits, the band continues to release new material with remarkable efficiency — in fact, the upcoming full-length Southern California Street Musicsounds just as relevant as the band's classic '90s catalog material. In concert, expect to see seven guys — including a full horn section — sweating their faces off and inspiring un-ironic skanking via its unique blend of ska, punk and metal. Admittedly, we still think it's going to be a while until ska's next revival, but thankfully the Voodoo Glow Skulls are still around to remind us that there's an antithesis to Reel Big Fish.
