The Young Zoo Friends are a group of twenty- and thirty-somethings focused on the preservation and advancement of Forest Park’s beloved Saint Louis Zoo. And they want you in their ranks. To seduce you, they’re throwing the summer’s second Jammin’ at the Zoo starting at 6 p.m. Frolic with the animals as you sample more than 200 wines and swoon to the grooves of local musicians, including soul maven Kim Massie, hip-hop DJ Trackstar and the cover-band stylings of Tiny Cows. Admission for this 21-and-older event is free for zoo members and $10 for non-members; picnic-dinner options start at $13.50. For more information visit www.stlzoo.org or call 314-768-5450.
