A Sweet Deal

But what is happening in this inner-ring municipality on the evenings of the third Thursdays of September, October and November is almost as sweet. Beginning at 6 p.m. during these special nights, the city of Maplewood encourages you to participate in the Autumn Romps, which are free, self-guided tours of this nabe’s offerings along Manchester Road, Sutton Boulevard and Greenwood Boulevard. Grab a bite to eat at Boogaloo, catch some vapors at the Grateful Inn, and shop around at the various boutiques. Then, check out some artworks, stop in at the brand-new piano bar, the Jive & Wail, and bowl a game at the second-floor Saratoga Lanes -- fun times!
